About Theresa
I’m a qualified physiotherapist who discovered that true healing often involves far more than treating physical symptoms alone. That journey led me to the Bowen Technique, Reiki and intuitive energy healing — approaches that let me support people as whole individuals: body, mind and spirit.
My clinical background gives me a grounded understanding of how the body works and heals. My work with Bowen and Reiki lets me go further, working with the subtle patterns of tension, energy and emotion that often sit behind physical symptoms.
I believe healing works best when both are honoured together — whether you’re navigating chronic illness, burnout, or simply feel like you’ve been running on empty. That’s exactly what Sacred Flow Healing is built around.
Treatment
A gentle, hands-on therapy involving small, precise movements over muscles, tendons and fascia, with pauses between each set to allow your body to respond and reset.
Back and neck pain, sports injuries, migraines, stress and tension, and anyone looking for a gentle, non-invasive approach to pain and recovery.
Sessions are calm and unhurried. Many people feel deeply relaxed during treatment, and some notice improvements beginning within a day or two as the body continues to respond after the session ends.
A short consultation, then treatment on a couch fully clothed. Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes.

A gentle energy therapy where hands are placed lightly on or just above the body, supporting relaxation and the body’s own capacity to restore balance.

If you choose a Sacred Flow Healing session, I’ll combine therapies where appropriate to create a treatment that best supports your needs. We’ll always discuss the approach together before we begin, and your preferences will always be respected.

Yes, children of all ages may benefit from gentle holistic therapies. Treatment is always adapted to suit the child’s age, needs and comfort level.
A parent or guardian must remain present throughout the session for anyone under 18 years of age.
In most cases, yes. My treatments are designed to work alongside conventional healthcare, not replace it. Please let me know about any medical conditions, recent surgery or medications during your consultation so that I can ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.
If I feel another healthcare professional is better placed to help, I’ll always be honest and advise you accordingly.
My treatments are designed to complement, not replace, conventional medical care. If you have concerns about your health or experience new, severe or worsening symptoms, I recommend seeking advice from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional. Where appropriate, I’m happy to work alongside your existing healthcare team to support your overall wellbeing.
After your session, try to drink plenty of water and, where possible, allow yourself some time to rest and notice how your body feels.
Gentle movement, such as walking, can be helpful, but it’s often best to avoid unusually strenuous activity for the remainder of the day. Listening to your body is the best guide.
Yes. Most people are able to drive home safely after treatment.
Occasionally, people feel deeply relaxed or a little tired, so if you’re travelling a long distance, you may wish to take a few minutes before setting off.
Gentle exercise, such as walking or stretching, is usually absolutely fine.
If possible, it’s best to avoid intense physical activity for the rest of the day, giving your body time to integrate the treatment and respond naturally.
I offer treatments from my therapy space in a calm, welcoming environment designed to help you relax from the moment you arrive. Home visits are also available by arrangement for clients who would prefer treatment in their own surroundings or are unable to travel.
Yes — home visits are available for any treatment, at the same session prices, with a small travel contribution: included within 5 miles, £5 for 5–10 miles, and £10 for 10–15 miles.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, card or cash unless otherwise agreed. Payment is requested at the end of your appointment.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me the opportunity to offer your appointment to someone else. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged.
No special preparation is needed. Simply wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax, and if possible, avoid rushing so you can arrive feeling settled.
If you’re having a home visit, all that’s usually required is a quiet, comfortable space where we can work without interruption — no need to tidy up. My role is to bring peace to your existing environment, not to create a new chore. I’ll bring everything needed for your treatment.

Every treatment is tailored to you, and if you have any concerns or are experiencing a flare-up of a medical condition, we’ll discuss this beforehand so your session can be adapted accordingly.
No. You don’t need to hold any particular beliefs to experience a Reiki session. People come to Reiki from many different backgrounds — some with a strong spiritual connection, others simply looking to relax, reduce stress or support their wellbeing, often with nothing more than an open mind.
Every person’s experience is unique. Some notice deep relaxation, warmth or calm during the session; others notice more subtle changes unfolding over the following days.
My role isn’t to change your beliefs, but to provide a safe, supportive space where you can experience the session in whatever way feels right for you.
This varies from person to person, depending on your circumstances, your goals and how long your symptoms have been present. Some people notice positive changes after just one session; others with more longstanding or complex concerns may benefit from a series of treatments.
During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your needs and, if appropriate, I’ll recommend a treatment plan based on my clinical experience and your goals — always the right amount of treatment for you, never more than necessary, and never with any obligation to continue.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move easily. Treatment is performed through light clothing, so there’s no need to undress.
If you tend to feel cool when relaxing, you may wish to bring an extra layer or warm socks, though blankets are available. Your comfort, privacy and wellbeing are always the priority, so please let me know beforehand if you have any concerns or specific requirements.
